The Thame Sportive is a fantastic community cycling event set in the heart of Oxfordshire and the Chiltern Hills. Organised by Thame Cycling Club and Thame Cycles, and supported by Thame Town Council, the sportive offers three distinct routes to suit all abilities:
🚴 Family Ride: 13km
A relaxed, family-friendly route suitable for all ages, encouraging participation and confidence on the bike.
🚴 Intermediate Route: 80km
A scenic challenge extending into the Chiltern Hills, perfect for experienced cyclists looking for a rewarding ride.
🚴 Advanced Route: 130km
A tough test for seasoned riders, featuring significant elevation and stunning countryside views.
The sportive starts and finishes in Thame town centre, with a finish gantry and crowd barriers to give every rider a real race-day experience. Whether you're taking on the family, intermediate, or advanced route, it's an event designed to bring cyclists together and celebrate the joy of riding.
